Chrysaora pacifica 1/2”-1" bell diameter and 1 foot long (when tentacles are fully extended)
Captive Bred
Japanese Sea Nettles earn their name from the location they hail from. With burnt orange stripes flowing radially from the center of their bells, these are an absolute stunner. Japanese Nettles are very similar to Bay Nettles in terms of care and appearances. Like their Atlantic cousins, Japanese Nettles are hardy, stay fairly small and accept a wide variety of foods. Although kept occasionally in public aquaria, this is the first time this species has been offered for sale to the public here in the US. We're excited to offer this gorgeous and exotic species!
